GET UP & GO - Fifth Annual Georgia FiberFest 2016

Columbus, GA - Celebrating five years of bringing the best in fiber education, shopping and fun, Georgia FiberFest, sponsored by Kromski, is coming up at the Columbus Convention & Trade Center Thursday, September 8 through Saturday, September 10.

Georgia FiberFest’s mission is to introduce fiber lovers to the wonders of natural fibers with a weekend of classes, demonstrations and a vendor market. The market and classes, on all aspects of fiber offer something for everyone.
Choose from almost 35 different classes in knitting, crocheting, felting, dyeing, carding, spinning, beading and weaving. Registration for classes is open now. Visitors can also shop the free vendor market area for all things fiber- and gift-related, such as coffee, tea, purses, jewelry, handcrafted soap, and ready-made garments and accessories. Get started on holiday shopping and enjoy free demonstrations. This year's featured speaker/teacher is Patsy Zawistoski.
The market is free and open to the public. Shopping hours are Thursday, 2:00-6:00 p.m., Friday 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., and Saturday 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
Visitors may also enjoy the Southern Lovin' Junkin' Show, which will be held in the adjacent exhibit halls at the same time
