Annual Educators Summit To Be Held at ASU

ALBANY, GA - The College of Education is planning to host its annual Educators Summit, a regional conference to promote excellence in educational research, scholarship, and practice. The Educators Summit will be held on Sept. 24, 2016 from 8 a.m. – 12 noon in the Billy C. Black Building on the Albany State University campus. The 2016 Theme is, Advancing Educational Excellence in K-12 Schools and Beyond.”

The keynote speaker for the conference will be Dr. Kathaleena Monds, Co-Director of the Center for Economic Education/Small and Minority Entrepreneurship. The College is currently seeking proposals for presentations. This summit welcomes research presentations in all areas of K-12 education (e.g., counseling, teaching, and educational leadership) as well as related areas or industries (e.g., educational policymaking, instructional technology, and higher education).  Please view additional information, and to submit proposals by Sept. 9, 2016 using the link:  http://albanystatecoe.wixsite.com/educatorsummit.
